St. Martin's Parish is a wonderful place for families with young children. We offer a full range of enriching programs for children and their parents. Sunday Children's Program Information
The Nursery Program is for children from the age of 6 months to 3 years old on Sunday morning during 8:30 am and 10:00 am Masses. It allow parents to attend Mass without their child and also to meet other parents and their children. It is organized as a parent participation co-op program, so parents serve in the Nursery on a rotating basis. There is no fee. If you haven't seen our lovely Nursery, it is located in the Community Building next to the Church. For more information, contact the Catechetical Office.
The Preschool Program is for children ages 3 years old through Kindergarten and is held in the Gym during the 8:30 am and 10:00 am Masses, October through May. The preschool children are placed in small, mixed groups to rotate through activity centers (faith, craft, action/movement, etc.) Parents participate on a rotating basis. There is a $40 fee for this program, which covers expenses such as the Family Handbook, prayer cards and supplies. These fees also support our Nursery and CLW. CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
The Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLW) Program is for children ages 5 through 11 years old. Children attend the 8:30 am or 10:00 am Mass with their family and then process from the Church to the Community Building for the Proclamation of God’s Word at a child’s level of understanding. The children then return to Church for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. For more information, contact the Catechetical Office.
